The inspiration for my personal logo design!
I’m Clara Sullivan, a senior at the University of Colorado Boulder majoring in Strategic Communications with a creative focus and minoring in Fine Arts. I grew up in Boulder and chose to stay close to home, grounding both my life and work in community, family, and connection.
With a passion for bold design thinking and visual storytelling, I work at the intersection of creativity and strategy—building brand narratives that feel intentional, emotive, and human. My background in both art and advertising allows me to approach ideas with equal parts concept and craft.
My creative perspective was shaped through studying oil painting and art history in Florence, where I sharpened my eye for detail, cultural awareness, and visual communication. Rooted in empathy and authenticity, I believe strong storytelling has the power to inspire connection and create meaningful change.
I’m especially drawn to oil painting and illustration, and I’m exploring paths in children’s book illustration as well as copywriting and art direction. Lately, I’ve been inspired by immersive storytelling in all forms—especially after just finishing A Court of Thorns and Roses, which I truly cannot get enough of. I’m always interested in collaboration and love working with others to push ideas further. Outside of creative work, I find inspiration in the outdoors, movement, music, and reading.
